We are not Irish. Not one pint. And yet St. Patrick’s Day is one of my families favorite days to eat.
Even though the children are mostly gone ( daughter in New Orleans grad school, foster son working here in town, biological son swinging back through from playing a ‘gig’ at South By Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas), tonight we are ALL going to be together and I’m cooking up a corned beef and cabbage feast!
So simple. So real. So good.
