Puerto Rican Posey’s

Believe it, or not, beautiful Puerto Rico doesn’t have much in bloom- at least not last week.
I don’t know what I expected?
Yes I do- lush, tropical, bright blooms the likes of which I had never seen before! That’s all.
I recorded what I could get close to except for African Tulip Tree flowers (which I later found out are another invasive species brought by way of those globe trotting Spaniards), a large yellow flower, which blooms at the the top of the tree canopy…

and I wasn’t climbing.
