Stumping for Art

A recent car ride through the Central City neighborhood of New Orleans turned up some amazing surprises:
     1. We rode with the windows down (and classical music on the radio)… and didn’t get flipped-off,
     2. We rode with the windows down and… didn’t get shot,
     3. I parked the car to inquire about some funny looking men peering down at me from high atop the campaign headquarters of perennial optimist and recent council district wannabe Eric Strachan and… the car didn’t get jacked!

Eric’s a great guy, and his commitment to this neighborhood runs deep.

He’s got my vote-
and (by the looks of it)
the rabbit men who live on the roof.
Larger-then-life Rabbit men peering down
from the roof top-
A real show stopper!

The interior space of Eric’s headquarters-
they were just beginning to organize the day
I showed up.

A total of 5 Rabbit men greet you-
three on one corner, these two on the
street side.

Note: art mingling with politics-
as it should be.
