From My House (and Garden) To Yours

Every year I try to figure out a clever, crafty, and personal (shhh… I give it out to everyone) idea that I can duplicate ‘en masse’ to gift my girl friends.
Years past have included a galvanized tin can filled with bird seed, seed scoop, and feeder. A porcelain cache pot filled with soil, flowering bulbs, and an additional long necked watering can. Vintage bread boards topped with a crusty loaf of bread, bread knife, and a bread recipe. Spiced sugars, infused oils, and even my ‘Special’ salt.
     Every year!
Holy Mary Mother of God- what have I done? (rhetorical)
I now have people that ‘wait in anticipation’ for this!
    Collect my breath
And yet, every year I surprise myself by rising to the occasion.
     This year was no exception.
     No sweat!
     With my eyes closed!
Don’t mind if I do- kind of non-exception.

Thank God I have another year to recover.

So cute- and tart.
