A Perfect Perch

The thrill of the hunt.
The roar of the crowds.
The ecstasy of desire.
No- not that!
I’m taking about shopping- in all of it’s glorious forms.
For clothes, and couches, and china, and chairs.
Whatever floats your boat (and rocks your living room).
So cathartic.
So exciting.
Sometimes dangerous.
Never ordinary.
At least that’s how I feel when I’ve donned my angel wings and landed to roost atop my favorite Perch.

Happiness, and credit cards…

I can totally see myself enjoying my
lunch seated at this table- in this room.
Why not?
Wrap it!
Can I wear that chandelier?

Those birds are waiting for their tea- on a golden lucite tray- on a trellised pillow-
on a forged metal stool- on a hand-hooked rug
