Margaret Mending

I promised to give all of you a weekly update on our little Peggy as she recuperates from her hind-leg amputation, so here it is- whether you like it or not, but, before you read further, or look at the photo’s, I must WARN
you it is

     She has come home.
     I am the nurse.
I am also the woman who had forgotten what a pain in the ass Ben can be when it comes to ill children (actually any small living thing).
He would have me never leave the house and sleep by her side as he passes with a martini in hand and much advise.
I’m thinking there might be two living things that have lost a limb in this house…

 very soon.

Miss Peggy
with her torture
neck collar.

And this is what it looks like.

Mommy has prepared a very nice hospital room.
Daddy might have to fit in there also.
Mommy is still deciding.
