Old MacDonald Farms NYC

My son Chase lives in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York, New York.
     That’s a lot of address.
     It’s a lot of city.
He knows I lovelovelove to garden, and cook, and talk, and eat, so he insisted we go visit the Smorgasburg Market at East River Street Park & N.7th at the waterfront so I could be in my element (his words- not mine).
Well, maybe he does know me, because I had a ball, and oysters, and a loaf of bread, pesto, fresh chicken, veggies, and ice cream.
And he (and his) had a great supper, courtesy of Old MacDonald and Mom…

in her element.

Can you say,
“Bread of the Gods?”
Orwashers Artisian Bakery
makes it-
since 1916

baked goods
Krumville Bake Shop
have never tasted more decadent.

Savory Cakes
Butter & Scotch
Two drunken bakers.
‘Ya gotta love these gals.

I can no longer remember who made these
savory sandwiches because
I’m still in a mind-boggeling
food coma.

A selection of Oysters
from the glorious waters that
surround our country.
All creamy, slightly tangy, and rich-
like me.
Brooklyn Oyster Party.
Nice guys with good taste.

    • Cheryl Nicholl - What? You think Bacon cupcakes are a bit over the top? Something that could kill you if you ate too many? Or at least slow you’re blood flow to the brain? Oh- I guess that’s why i love them. HahahahaReplyCancel

  • Ellen Dolgen - Everything in these pictures looks so delicious, especially that bread! I hope you had a wonderful time with your son.ReplyCancel

  • Sue - Tell your son he is so good to his mother. I like that. It all looks good to me especially the bread and cupcakes. I have not acquired a taste for Oysters. They don’t look appetizing to me, but there must be something about them because they are so well liked. Maybe someday.ReplyCancel

    • Cheryl Nicholl - He is good to his mother. And as for the oyster aversion- you don’t know what you’re missing Sue. Really- I mean it.ReplyCancel
