Godiva Me Anytime

When entertaining at home, one must always consider the dramatic ending to a fine meal.

A Forte, if you will. 

An appropriate Encore. (I love Opera. Can you tell?).

Having grilled steak with roasted asparagus and baked potatoes? Finish with a slice of cake.

Enjoying a classic pasta primavera with a green mixed arugula salad tossed in a fresh raspberry vinaigrette? Mixed berries on warm shortbread with a flourish of creme fraiche will do. 

Serving Lobster Newburg with pearl onions and English peas? Lemon mousse is a nice crescendo

Of course there is the wine. Always the wine– poured in ‘Flights’, or a tasting order, to magnify the unique and subtle flavors of the food. 

To enhance them.

To amplify.

And now, the famous chocolatier Godiva, has created the very same ‘Flight’, of chocolates.

To enjoy.

To devour.

To impress.

No second act was necessary.
