I don’t do many ‘promotions’.
I didn’t have to do this one, but when it
‘walks like a duck’ actually works, I’m inclined to join forces with the likes of Diane Keaton and Andie MacDowell.
Five weeks ago, I was supplied product and asked to use L’Oreal’s new Hydra-Nutrition Age Perfect skin line: Day/Night Cream (day), Golden Balm (evening), and Eye cream (twice a day).
“Use them, tell us what you think”, kind of thing. No writing a mandatory post (This post is MY idea). No tweeting. No social media pizazz. No nothing but try them and talk to us.
“Well, aren’t they in pretty jars. And the creams. Such a luscious color. Like butter. Ohhhh. They smell good and so velvety to the touch. Aahhhhh. Okay- let’s get this party started. There ya go (Day/Night cream). That feels good, but will makeup go over without smooshing? Why, yes it does. How nice. I wonder if the eye cream and the Golden Balm will actually absorb overnight and still leave my skin feeling hydrated by morning?”. Next morning
28 mornings later, ” Well, I’ll be darned. Look at that. Even more gorgeous then usual. Could it be? How could it be?” …
Let me get to the point: They work.
All of them.
My skin hasn’t looked (and felt) this good since I was still producing estrogen on my own.
What’s in them?
I have no frickin’ clue?
Do I care?
I do not- They WORK.
My skin (all the way down through my décolletage) is more even in tone, more supple (I do the ‘pinch test), less dry, brighter color, with less fine lines- some even plumped-up and gone, which is the direction I prefer by aging skin to go.
So, if you’re in the market (and by ‘market’ I mean you’re over 40) for a very good line of skin products that actually do what they say they will do and you don’t want to go bankrupt purchasing little droplets of commission-driven placenta of asteroid, then may I strongly suggest dipping your manicured fingers into…
You can thank me later.
